“The people of Maine should protect and strengthen marriage, not undermine it. We appreciate the Secretary of State’s and Attorney General’s commitment to clear and concise language for voters on this critical referendum. We believe Maine citizens will join the other 66 million Americans who have supported marriage as the union of one man and one woman in each of the 32 times it has gone to citizens for a vote.”

Carroll Conley, Jr., Executive Director of the Christian Civic League, Executive Committee member for Protect Marriage Maine
