Penny Morrell is returning to the Christian Civic League of Maine as Office Manager after a 16 year hiatus.  In the 1970s, she was Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to Jasper Wyman.

In between CCL positions, Penny worked for ten years as Office Administrator for Maine Administrators of Services for Children with Disabilities (MADSEC).   She left MADSEC to run for office,  worked in various political organizations, and for the State of Maine.

“We are very excited about Penny joining the League staff.  Penny’s reputation with legislators, government officials, and leaders of Christian organizations is one of a gifted administrator with great enthusiasm,” said Carroll Conley, Jr., Executive Director.

Penny’s weekday office hours will enable the League to keep their doors open as a sanctuary for legislators, supporters, and government officials who want a place for peace and quiet or to use the League’s resources.

Penny attends Belgrade Bible Church with her husband, Barry, of 43 years.  They have two adult children and five grandchildren.  Penny also serves as State Director of Concerned Women for America of Maine.
