Faith Matters in Maine UPDATE – December 13, 2012: “Encourage, Pray, Act”

One of the most common questions I am asked is, “How can I make a difference in Augusta?”  To which we said pray, pray, pray and we encouraged our listeners to go to our website and sign up for the Encourage-A-Legislator Program sponsored by Concerned Women for America of Maine.

I’d also encourage you to go to our website and register for our Citizen Action Center.  This program notifies you when your Legislators are about to make an important decision in committee or for a floor vote.  We provide suggested talking points about the pending bill to help you send an effective e-mail to multiple committee members or other legislators.

Your representatives need to hear respectful and effective communications – your voice will make a difference.  Please go to our website and register for the Citizen Action Center.
