Dr. Lutzer to speak to Maine pastors and their wives May 9-10

Dr. Erwin Lutzer and his wife, Rebecca, will spend two days ministering exclusively to Maine pastors and their wives on May 9 & 10, 2013. On Thursday, May 9 the special conference will be held at the Bangor Baptist Church.   The Friday, May 10 the conference will be held at The Berean Baptist Church in Brunswick.

Both Conferences will begin with registrations at 8:30 am. The theme of the Conference will be: Growing The Soul And Passion Of The Leader.

Dr. Lutzer will speak to the group on the following topics:

  • Trusting god when you are dry
  • Guarding your heart in a media culture
  • Outlines that will preach
  • Ending well
  • During session three, the wives will meet with Mrs. Lutzer

For more than 30 years Dr. Lutzer has served as senior pastor of the world-famous Moody Church in Chicago, where he provides leadership to Chicago pastors. Dr. Lutzer earned his B.Th. from Winnipeg Bible College, a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, an M.A. in philosophy from Loyola University, an LL.D. from Simon Greenleaf School of Law, and a D.D. from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary.

He is a featured radio speaker on the Moody Broadcasting Network and the author of numerous books, including The Vanishing Power of Death, Cries from the Cross, the best-selling One Minute Before You Die and Hitler’s Cross, which received the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association God Medallion Book Award.

The Conference cost has been underwritten and therefore offered to pastors at a fee of only $25. (spouse attends for free) and a check can be mailed to the Conference location you are attending, or can be paid at the door.
