The pro homosexual advocacy group here in Maine recently changed their name from the "Gay and Lesbian Political Alliance of Maine” to a much nicer sounding name; “Equality Maine”. Let’s be honest, any organization can change their name to one that is more acceptable but it doesn’t change what they do. The League has been warning the good people of Maine for three decades that this diabolical movement is out to destroy marriage and the family. The liberal media has called the League all kinds of names and more specifically, they have vilified Michael Heath. The efforts of the homosexual rights movement has made impressive gains, perhaps the most impressive being the passage of homosexual marriage laws in Massachusetts. We are all sick and tired of hearing about this, and yet we know that this problem is not going away unless Christians and churches are vocal about the dangers of this lifestyle and movement. I recently came across a couple of surprising articles that illustrate what this movement is really all about. The United States is a bit behind where the homosexual movement is in other parts of the world. Mark it down…this level of insanity is coming to the United States too…unless we say “no” to this enemy of the family and the church. Here are the two articles: 'Gay Police Association' Investigated for 'Faith Crime' Britain's "Gay Police Association" (GPA) is under investigation by Scotland Yard for possibly committing a "faith crime" when it ran a newspaper advertisement claiming that Christianity was the cause of a jump in violence against homosexuals. Under the title "in the name of the father," the ad showed a Bible next to a puddle of blood and stated: "In the last 12 months, the GPA has recorded a 74% increase in homophobic incidents, where the sole or primary motivating factor was the religious belief of the perpetrator." http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewCulture.asp?Page=/Culture/archive/200607/CUL20060726b.html Dutch Political Party Wants to Normalize Pedophilia Members of a fringe political party in the Netherlands, who recently won a court case allowing them to field candidates for seats in the Dutch Parliament, believe it should be permissible for adults to have sex with children.
