Regional Newspaper Puts Banquet Above the Fold
The Fort Fairfield Journal, a bi-weekly
periodical published in Aroostook County, has given the Christian
Civic League of Maine's Banquet, an event League President Rev.
Dallas Henry called exhilariting, a front-page piece in its October
10, 2007 edition. The Fort Fairfield Journal was represented at the
Banquet by publisher and editor David Deschesne, who wrote the piece.

A Report from the League Administrator
As of Tuesday, October 24, 2006, the Christian Civic League of Maine has $1,152 in available funds, and currently outstanding bills of $6,191.00.
The operating budget for the Christian Civic League in October, 2006 is $18,150.00. As of October 24, a total $10,246 in contributions have been received.
The Christian Education League of Maine has $870 in available funds, and currently outstanding bills of $2,600. The 'Restore the Foundations' Capital Campaign has raised $11,720.00, with a total expense of over $21,200 expected over the next few months.
The operating budget for the Christian Education League in October, 2006 is $3,400.00. As of October 24, a total of $320 in contributions have been received (not including Capital Campaign contributions).

Forum still under attack
In the spring of 2004 the Christian Civic League of Maine started an online forum. Six months later is was destroyed by someone who erased all the content, and replaced it with vile pornographic and anti-Christian messaging.
The League has restarted its forum here, and continues to suffer harassment from people who are obsessed with the "gay" issue and pornography. One such user registered the username "mikeheathisgay" today. The email they posted with the registration was zippy@yahoo.com.

Heath calls Whitman Appearance "Odd"
League Director Michael Heath is quoted in the national pro family press describing Senator Chandler Woodcock's appearance last weekend with liberal Governor Christie Todd Whitman as "odd" and "perhaps inappropriate." League's Castro/Baldacci Picture Surfaces on YouTube

Early this year the Christian Civic League of Maine filed multiple Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with the office of Governor John Baldacci. The ministry suspected there were pictures of his trip to Cuba. As it turned out there were many pictures of the trip, and a couple with the Governor and the Dictator. While Maine's media ignored the story, for the most
part, an interesting one minute video has appeared on the popular
online website called YouTube.
YouTube gives users an
opportunity to upload, for public viewing, videos that they have
produced. The service is free. Anyone with an internet connection can
view the uploaded videos.
The video that features the League's
picture of Baldacci and Castro appears in a video that links Maine's
incumbent Governor with the Cuban missle crisis. The video begins with
a picture of Kennedy, and audio of him speaking about the crisis...READ
