The Central Maine Pregnancy Support Center is having their annual Steps-For-Life Walkathon this Saturday, September 23rd, from 9:00 am to Noon on Main Street in Waterville.  Walkers and other volunteers are needed for this event.  There will be a live band performing, t-shirts, and prizes awarded directly after the walk at the Waterville Center. For more information please call 872-5070 or 622-7422.

The Central Maine Pregnancy Support Center is a non-profit organization.  Our objective is to give women the option to choose to carry and to successfully parent a child.  Our desire is to empower capable women to make healthy choices for their life.

 The commitment the Central Maine Pregnancy Support Centers provides to their clients:

    * Respecting the privacy and dignity of every client.
    * Providing a supportive, non-pressure environment.
    * Being an advocate for our clients.
    * Providing full and up-to-date information about fetal development, abortion risks and procedures, and abortion alternatives.
    * Exploring any and all relevant issues.
    * Reaching out to women suffering after an abortion.
    * Recognizing that, while we can stand with the client, ultimately the client must make her own decisions and bear her own consequences.
