   500-50-5 Plan Gift for 2007!

In the next 5 years we are hoping to partner with 500 Evangelical churches, Christian organizations, families, and individuals in Maine committed to giving $50 or more per month to the League .  Join in the League's 110th anniversary and receive a "thank-you" gift - Focus on the Family's Newest Radio Theatre dual CD production "Waves of Grace," which tells of the journey of slave trader-turned-Pastor and author of the beloved hymn "Amazing Grace," John Newton.

As of Friday, December 28, 2007, the Christian Civic League of Maine has $4,557 in available funds, and currently outstanding bills of $19,219. Please note that the recent increase in outstanding bills includes repayment of a loan from an existing League account.

The operating budget for the Christian Civic League in December, 2007 is $15,400.00.  As of December 28, a total of $15,831 in contributions have been received.

The Christian Education League of Maine has $24,156 in available funds, and currently outstanding bills of $99.

The operating budget for the Christian Education League in December, 2007 is $3,400.00. As of December 28, a total of $28,480 in contributions have been received.

Please prayerfully consider these two donation requests this month:

1)  Contact your local community or employer-sponsored United Way Campaign to see both the Christian Civic League of Maine and the Christian Education League are listed in their organizational directories.

If not, please politely request that they contact our office for us to be added.  If so, please consider donating through your local United Way Campaign to our Christian ministry.

2)  Create your own League Legacy through Bequest giving.  Please contact us at email@cclmaine.org to request information on, or to notify us of, bequest giving from you or your family.  By affirming your bequest in your will, living trust, or estate plan, you help the League create a better Maine for our children and grandchildren.
