Pam Spaulding came out against League Executive Director Michael Heath Sunday calling him a "hack" in the title of a recent blog entry at Pam's House Blend. The entry calls Michael Heath's recent commentary
"Save Our State Act" a "laff-fest" and also labels him as the "Peter Labarbera of New England". Michael Heath has called Americans For the Truth About Homosexuality Executive Director Peter Labarbera a "hero" on his radio program and podcast, Faith Matters in Maine.
In an interview earlier this year, Labarbera said Spaulding uses "name calling and vicious put-downs" in order to make a point. In June 2006, Labarbera's life was threatened in a comment made by a Pam's House Blend sympathizer.
Pam's House Blend is a
"leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy," according to Mike Hein. The pro-sodomy site averages 110,000 hits per month, making it one of the most widely read left-wing political blogs in the United States.
Earlier this month, Spaulding, herself a Duke University Employee, questioned League reporter Mike Hein's credibility for his plan to cover Soulforce's rally at the Statehouse in Augusta, calling his news brief "laughable". Hein said he is praying that Pam Spaulding will "
turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior and accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior."
