A Real Child Abuse Scandal 
February 2003; A new report from UCLA claims that “gay children are particularly vulnerable to molestation by older males because there are few acceptable ways of expressing their sexuality.” Not only are there “gay children” but, the investigators say, the traditional notion that youngsters are converted to homosexuality because they are sexually abused is probably false. They further suggest that both the boy and society (which will not allow him to “explore and validate his sexuality”) bear some of the blame for men having sex with boys. This is the latest and clearest instance, in a major main-line scientific journal, of an attempt to partially absolve homosexual predators of their actions, while paving the way for the direct homosexualization of youth. Homosexual Rape and Murder of Children
February 2003; The homosexual historical footprint is large when it comes to the rape and murder of children. The most notorious child killer might be Gilles de Rais (Bluebeard), remembered for raping, torturing, and killing perhaps 800 boys in 15th century France. Gilles often raped the boy as he hung from a hook by the neck. Before he died, Gilles took him down, comforted him, repeated the act and either killed him himself or had him slain. Gay Foster Parents More Apt to Molest 
November 2002  No matter how professionals in our society extol the virtues of ‘science,’ if empirical evidence goes against their beliefs, they often ignore it or avoid it. The employment of homosexuals as foster parents is a perfect case in point.  When a 16 year-old foster son was molested and raped by two gay foster parents in Vermont, Tom Moore, Deputy of the State’s Social and Rehabilitation Services, told me on June 25, 2002 that neither he nor the Commissioner knew of any evidence about the molestation rates of children by homosexual foster parents. He was apparently echoing his boss, Commissioner William Young, who the papers quoted as saying “I don’t know of any screening instrument for [sexual molestation]. Certainly, sexual preference doesn’t have anything to do with it, or religious beliefs or socioeconomic status. An Outrage, Pure and Simple 
February 5,, 2003  It's been four years now, and the District of Columbia caseworkers – no strangers to horrific stories of child abuse and neglect – still can't get over the incident. Two brothers – ages five and three – lay down for a nap in their mother's house. When she went in to awaken them, she found the boys engaged in oral sex. Homosexuality and Child Sex Abuse 
Scandals involving the sexual abuse of under-age boys by homosexual priests have rocked the Roman Catholic Church. At the same time, defenders of homosexuality argue that youth organizations such as the Boy Scouts should be forced to include homosexuals among their adult leaders. Similarly, the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a homosexual activist organization that targets schools, has spearheaded the formation of "Gay-Straight Alliances" among students. GLSEN encourages homosexual teachers--even in the youngest grades--to be open about their sexuality, as a way of providing role models to "gay" students. Kenyan Anglican Bishop Attacked for Opposing US Homosexual Appointment  
August, 2003 A Kenyan Anglican Bishop was yesterday morning attacked in a London street by two Church of England colleagues for opposing the appointment of a homosexual bishop by the US Episcopal Church. The British clerics accused the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) of taking an uncompromising stand over the controversial appointment of Rev Gene Robinson as bishop of New Hampshire. The two confronted Bishop Simon Oketch in London where he is attending an international seminar dubbed: "New Wine Conference". The confrontation began with a heated argument over the appointment of Robinson and almost resulted in an exchange of blows before members of the public came to Oketch's rescue. I thought a longer excerpt might be in order.  What follows is an excerpt from Gary North's "Crossed Fingers: How the Liberals Took Over the Northern Presbyterian Church."  This book draws a critical conclusion - that a similar strategy was used in the left's hostile takeover of every major Protestant denomination, and every major American cultural institution. America's worldview made a catastrophic shift from Judeo-Christian to evolutionary by the mid-20th century.  He also argues (and I agree) that liberals never take over a denomination and raise it to new heights of evangelism, discipleship, and acts of service. To the uninformed, homosexuality is as common as heterosexual behavior. Legal Warning to Church on Gay Stance 
Clergy and bishops who distribute the Vatican's latest publication describing homosexual activity as "evil" could face prosecution under incitement to hatred legislation. The Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) has warned that the language in the 12-page booklet is so strong it could be interpreted as being in breach of the Act.  Published by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, it states that Catholics have a duty to oppose the introduction and operation of legislation recognizing same-sex unions. New Book Says Homosexual Agenda Is to Silence the Church 
July 2003  (AgapePress) - An official with the Alliance Defense Fund says if Christians continue to ignore the threat posed by homosexual activists, the Church in America will eventually be silenced on the issue.  The ADF's president Alan Sears and vice president of creative services Craig Osten have written a new book titled The Homosexual Agenda: Exposing the Principle Threat to Religious Freedom (Broadman & Holman Publishers, 2003). Judge Declines To Sentence 3 Catholic Gay Activists
January, 2003  Three Catholic gay activists were convicted of unlawful entry yesterday in D.C. Superior Court by a judge who then declined to sentence them, told them she was sympathetic and went on to apologize on behalf of the Catholic Church. Judge Mildred M. Woman Murdered After Witnessing to Homosexual; TEEN STABS DEVOUT CATHOLIC TO DEATH November 2002  A killing in Chicago last week could turn "hate crimes" laws on their head. A brutal murder in Chicago last week highlights the double standard surrounding hate crimes. A homosexual killed a woman that was trying to witness to him. Will authorities call the killing a hate crime and will the media report it in the same way they did the Matthew Shepard murder?  Nineteen-year-old Nicholas Gutierrez is charged with first degree murder in the slaying of 51-year-old Mary Stachowicz. He allegedly beat, stabbed and hid her body in his apartment after she told him God would not approve of his lifestyle. The two were co-workers. Gutierrez allegedly has said he was enraged because it reminded him of heated debates with his mother. Relatives say Stachowicz was probably trying to help.  Peter LaBarbera, of Concerned Women for America, was pointed in his response to this crime. "This woman, Mary Stachowicz, was killed evidently because she was sharing the truth about homosexuality to a gay activist," LaBarbera said. Oxford’s New Pro-Homosexual Bible a Hit with ‘Gay’ Activists
September 2002  A new edition of the popular New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) commentary, The New Oxford Annotated Bible, reinterprets key sections of the Bible to negate or water down orthodox Christian beliefs about homosexuality, Jesus Christ’s sovereignty, and the sanctity of life. The new Annotated Bible — edited in part by pro-"gay" and feminist scholars — adopts "gay" revisionist interpretations of Holy Scripture such as that God allegedly destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of inhospitality — not homosexual sin.  The nation’s leading church for homosexuals swiftly hailed the new politically correct Bible commentary. Responding to Pro-Gay Theology 
The pro-gay theology is much like the broader gay rights philosophy, in that it seeks legitimization (not just tolerance) of homosexuality. Selling Homosexuality To America 
August 2002  Among America's culture wars, one of today's most intense controversies rages around the issue alternatively identified, depending on one's point of view, as "normalizing homosexuality" or "accepting gayness." The debate is truly a social-ethical-moral conceptual war that transcends both the scientific and legal, though science and law most often are the weapons of choice. The ammunition for these weapons, however, is persuasion. This article explores how gay rights activists use rhetoric, psychology, social psychology, and the media–all the elements of modern marketing–to position homosexuality in order to frame what is discussed in the public arena and how it is discussed. In essence, when it comes to homosexuality, activists want to shape "what everyone knows" and "what everyone takes for granted" even if everyone does not really know and even if it should not be taken for granted. The first strategy of persuasion is to establish a favorable climate for your message so that the communicator (marketer) can influence the future decision without even appearing to be persuading. Gay Domestic Violence Finally Measured 
December 2001 While some homosexuals choose to remain 'in the closet,' most homosexual activists desperately want official recognition of, and legitimacy for, the gay lifestyle. As a consequence, they have been pressing the government to measure them. For rather than fearing that American public officials will persecute them, gay activists have realized that the social and political climate has swung in their favor. And what better way to cement their status as an official minority than to become a government statistic!  Of course, homosexual activists have attempted to 'measure' homosexuality before now, often with the aim of 'pumping up' the prevalence of homosexual behavior to make it appear that homosexuality was a part of 'normal human sexuality.' Kinsey ended up claiming that "39% or more of all men had had a homosexual experience to orgasm" and produced statistics that many construed as 'proving' that 10% of the population was 'gay.' Violence and Homosexuality  
In 1992 two Jeffersonville, Indiana lesbians, aged 17 and 16, abducted a 12-year-old girl whom they accused of trying to "steal a girlfriend." The little girl was pushed into the trunk of a car, stabbed repeatedly, and beaten with a heavy metal bar. While still struggling, they poured gasoline on her and set her ablaze. Later that year a Fort Lauderdale, Florida 14-year-old was convicted of first-degree murder for helping to kill his 40-year-old father. The father "was stabbed 45 times and beaten so badly with an iron skillet that the skillet shattered." "Finding a Needle in the Ocean" Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth
As you will recall, there are three disputed propositions at the heart of the debate over homosexuality today: 1.Homosexuality is normal;  2. Homosexuality is innate, or inherited;  3. Homosexuality is irreversible.  First, like all complex behavioral and mental states, homosexuality is multifactorial. It is neither exclusively biological nor exclusively psychological but results from an as-yet-difficult-to-quantitate mixture of genetic factors, intrauterine influences (some innate to the mother and thus present in every pregnancy, and others incidental to a given pregnancy), postnatal environment (such as parental, sibling, and cultural behavior), and a complex series of repeatedly reinforced choices occurring at critical phases in development.  Second, male and female homosexuality are probably different conditions that arise from a different composite of influences. Nonetheless, they have some similarities.  Third, "homosexuality" is very poorly defined. Our use of this one term creates the false impression of a uniform "gay" or "lesbian" condition and culture. It obscures the reality that what we are studying is a complex set of variable mental, emotional, and behavioral states that are caused by differing proportions of numerous influences. Indeed, one of the chief characteristics of the gay lifestyle is its efflorescence of styles and types of sexuality. Homosexual Researchers Debunk ‘Born Gay’ Urban Legend
The “Born Gay” urban legend is actually being exposed as false by homosexual researchers themselves. Is There a "Gay Gene"? 
Many laymen now believe that homosexuality is part of who a person really is ­ from the moment of conception.  The "genetic and unchangeable" theory has been actively promoted by gay activists and the popular media. The Biological Research on Homosexuality
It is important to note that serious research on the biology, innateness, or genetic determinants of homosexuality has only just recently begun. Exactly opposite to what the public is being led to believe, the research that has been done thus far suggests that genetic factors account for, at most, but a small proportion of the risk. J. M. Bailey and R. C. Pillard, two of the major researchers most widely cited as having demonstrated that "homosexuality is genetic," were forced to admit otherwise by the results of their own research. The Fading "Gay Gene" 
Serious scientists have long known that a simply "genetic" cause for homosexuality was highly unlikely, but the mass media conveyed the misimpression of genetic causation to the general public. In the Globe article, prominent researchers admit the distinct limitations of the "born that way" theory.  "Gay gene" researcher Dean Hamer comments, "It is the same for every human behavior--environment matters for extroversion, smoking cigarettes, just about anything you can name."  Interestingly, Dr. Hamer--himself a gay man--adds that science remains "just as clueless" as ever about the environmental influences on homosexuality. Dr. Hamer's statement is consistent with a position taken by most gay advocates, who flatly deny the existence of evidence that points to certain family and social influences on homosexuality. (Gay advocates almost invariably either say "I was born that way," or "How I became gay doesn't matter.") The Gay Gene: Going, Going...Gone
When the question of the origin of homosexuality arises, homosexual activists tend to resort to the often-heard refrain "I was born gay." There are even T-shirts sold at homosexual functions and bookstores that say, "Hey Mom, Thanks for the Genes." The idea that homosexuality is a predetermined condition that originates in the womb also has been increasingly embraced by society as a whole. A February 2000 Harris Poll of 1,010 randomly selected adults found that the number of people who believe "sexual orientation" "is more dependent on the genes you are born with" has increased 6 percent since 1995. Thirty-five percent of the people polled believe that homosexuality is "genetic," versus 29 percent who held that opinion in 1995. The Innate-Immutable Argument Finds No Basis in Science
The Salt Lake City Tribune has published several articles in recent months regarding homosexuality. While many of the articles are well-written, they do not reflect the scientific literature. In fact, the social advocacy of many of the articles seems to suggest a greater reliance on politics than on science.  Gay-activist researcher Dean Hamer makes a revealing statement about science and morality. He states, "...biology is amoral; it offers no help in distinguishing between right and wrong. Only people, guided by their values and beliefs, can decide what is moral and what is not" (Hamer and Copeland, 1994, p. 214). Homosexuality is an issue of ethics and morality. Homosexuals Demand Legalization of Sex With Strangers...
A three-judge panel of the Virginia Court of Appeals heard arguments from attorneys on behalf of ten men who were arrested for violating the state law against sodomy. According to the Family Policy Network, the ten plaintiffs each attempted to solicit sex from undercover police officers in a Roanoke local park. On Tuesday Sam Garrison, an attorney for the ten homosexuals, said the Virginia sodomy statute presumes "to tell adults what they can and cannot do in their bedrooms." Joe Glover, President of the Family Policy Network, said, "Apparently Mr. Garrison cannot discern the difference between a public park and a private bedroom." Glover says, "These homosexuals are demanding the acceptance of sex with strangers in public parks." Meanwhile, diseases like AIDS, HIV, and hepatitis are all spreading as a result of such activities. In fact, an Oxford University study this year found that persons engaging in sodomy by age 20 have just over a 50% chance of reaching age 65. Just the Facts: AIDS & the Homosexual Lifestyle!

Sharing Disease is Not a Civil Right
There are some born with genetic or congenital conditions, such as Downs Syndrome or cerebral palsy, or more commonly, asthma or diabetes. These individuals meet life colored or flavored with their condition, even limited by it. Many expressions of life open to others are not open to them; yet they may lead rich, productive, and valuable lives. If indeed homosexuality is genetic or congenital, affected individuals, for the health of society, should accept a self-imposed limitation of sexual abstinence.  Society has a need to protect itself from the unhealthy nature of homosexual expression.  Regardless of the cause of homosexual orientation, homosexual behavior remains a lifestyle choice, and an unhealthy one at that, hardly warranting protection. The Many Myths of AIDS

Michael Fumento offers 47 myths about the AIDS disease.  Each myth is an article in itself. Mr. Fumento is an author, journalist, and attorney specializing in science and health issues. He is a science columnist for Scripps-Howard and a Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C. He received his undergraduate degree while serving in the Army, where he achieved the rank of sergeant. In 1985 he was graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law.  He has been a legal writer for the Washington Times, editorial writer for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver, and was the first "National Issues" reporter for Investor's Business Daily.
