A
PLACE FOR GOD’S LAW
“And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold:
inside and outside shalt thou overlay it; and shalt make upon it a
border of gold round about.
And cast four rings of gold for it, and put
them at the four corners thereof, that two rings may be upon the one
side thereof and two rings upon the other side thereof.
And make staves of acacia-wood and overlay
them with gold.
And put the staves into the rings upon the
sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
The staves shall be in the rings of the
ark: they shall not come out from it.
And thou shalt put into the ark the
testimony that I shall give thee.
And thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure
gold: two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a
half the breadth thereof.
And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold;
of beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the
mercy-seat.
And make one cherub at the end of the one
side, and one cherub at the end of the other side; out of the
mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim at the two ends thereof.”
(Exodus 25:10-19)
QUOTATIONS FOR THE DAY
“Great is the power of habit. It teaches us
to bear fatigue and to despise wounds and pain.”
“If you pursue good with labor, the labor
passes away but the good remains; if you pursue evil with pleasure,
the pleasure passes away and the evil remains.”
“Just as the soul fills the body, so God
fills the world. Just as the soul bears the body, so God endures the
world. Just as the soul sees but is not seen, so God sees but is not
seen. Just as the soul feeds the body, so God gives food to the
world.”
(Cicero)
HUNDREDS OF “YES ON 1” SIGNS
DESTROYED
According to Paul Madore, Director of the
Maine Grassroots Coalition, hundreds of “Yes on 1” signs across the
state have been removed or vandalized. In one case, a sign was
removed thirty minutes after it was put in place.
Vandalism is nothing new to those who
oppose the gay rights movement. The sign at the League office was
vandalized earlier this year and the League website was put out of
operation for a while. But the vandalism of the Left often takes a
much more serious form. So-called hoax crimes take place in which
gay rights proponents vandalize their own property to prove a hate
crime has taken place.

CCLM STORY GOES NATIONAL
The
demonstration in Boston over the weekend in which thousands of
antiwar protestors and radical gay activists blocked the entrance of
Tremont Temple where a "Love Won Out" conference was being held, has
gone national. Yesterday World Net Daily made it their feature
story, and linked to an article on the demonstration which appeared
in The RECORD. Also included in the story are photos taken by the
CCL staff, which show the incredible sight of a long line of blue
helmeted police guarding a Baptist Church from an unruly mob.
