Marriage is under attack in Maine and America. The Coalition for Marriage is holding a Pastor's Press Conference for Marriage on March 31, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the State House Hall of Flags. Maine's Governor and Legislature are poised to enact the most onerous homosexual rights bill ever proposed in Maine history. They want to protect something called "gender identity" and "expression." Do you want a transsexual man coaching your middle school granddaughter's swim team? This will be the case unless we take a stand. If your Christian pastor is unaware of this event, please pass the word to him that he is not only invited but urged to come and stand with other pastors from all over the State for traditional Marriage in Maine. If the Church doesn’t take a public stand for traditional marriage Maine is going to fall to this evil. We have created a list of pastors who plan to attend this important event. We are calling it the “Honor roll of courageous pastors” who are willing to publicly proclaim that marriage is between one man and one woman. Is Marriage worth defending? We believe it is! Our goal is 200 pastors standing for Marriage on March 31, 2005. Email mike@cclmaine.org to let us know your pastor is coming.
